Exciting news. We now have MDS which is My Digital Studio. An awesome piece of software for creating digital scrapbooking, cards and so much more. The best part is the price. Only $24.95!! which is hugely lower than I thought it would be, BUT you can download a FREE full working copy on a 30 Day Trial. Downloading of the initial MDS software does take some time and you will need about 3GB data to install it. However any additional downloads you purchase after that are quite quick and only take small amounts of data usage. I have already been having a little play with this myself and will start showing you some projects I have done. Keep in mind I am a digital virgin so will be learning along with all of you. I will post more video and tutorials to help you navigate you way through this software to.
The other excellent news is that we now have ONLINE ORDERING, you can go straight to my Business Website, hit the Shop Now button which is located on the sidebar of this blog and do all your ordering online. If you don't like ordering this way you can still email or phone me to place your order. Remember to select me - Karlie Yardy - as your demonstrator when shopping so you get preferred pricing - it is cheaper than the retail price.
Welcome to this week's edition of Tuesday's Tips, Techniques and Tutorials.
This week a tip and example on how to use up some of the many scraps we collect with our paper crafting.
This page is another Scrap booking Layout from February and March Scrap booking Classes.
I simply love this photo of my little nephew which was taken a few years ago now. It's just so cute.
The Stampin' Up! Snow Festival range of papers was one of my absolute favourites. In total I made 6 scrap book pages from this range of papers, this one being the . Unfortunately they are now retired. This is a great layout to use up all those scraps of paper you have lying around too. All the strips are only 4cm - 6cm wide and you could easily convert this this scrap booking sketch and use it for a card. Simply swap the photo over for a stamp and wallah card made. I hope you like this week's tip.
Scrap booking and Card Classes are held monthly in Cameron Park which is located in the Newcastle area of New South Wales.
Card Making Supplies: All items are from Stampin' Up! Stamp Sets - Nil Inks. - Soft Suede Cardstock and Paper- Cherry Cobble, Snow Festival Design Series Paper ( now retired) Other - Dimensionals, Stampin' Up! Paper Trimmer, Paper Snips
Just thought I would share with you all the gifts I made up for my ladies that recenlty finished this round of Stamp Club. First I made them all this lovely box which was about 6 1/2 inches square.
The cardstock I used is now retired.
Next I filled it was 6x6inch paper sheets of retired Stampin' Up! papers.
All the ladies loved their goodies boxes.
Lastly I decorated a notebook for them all. Most of the ladies have told me that they are using it to write down their Stampin' Up! wish lists in. I used last years Sale-a-bration papers to decorate them.
The rosette was made on my Stampin' Up! Simply Scored tool and I used the Elegant Butterly punch to finish them off. I really hope all my ladies loved the gifts they received from me.
I will be seeing some of them a Card Class next week so I am sure they will all let me know then.
If you are interested in coming to classes I run both night and day time card class and scrap booking classes in the Newcastle Are. Click here for times and dates.
